In our blog post of 14.05.2020 we reported on the course at Merseburg University of Applied Sciences, which our consultants conduct together with the lecturers of HoMe. (https://intecio.com/en/our-erp-systems-class/)
We talk with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Lutz Klimpel from the University of Applied Sciences Merseburg about our cooperation.
Prof. Klimpel is the head of the department ABWL and Business Informatics & INFLIKA / Department of Economics and Information Sciences and our contact person for all matters concerning the cooperation and the course “ERP Systems”.
Prof. Klimpel, how would you describe the cooperation with INTECIO GmbH?
The cooperation with INTECIO GmbH in the course “ERP Systems” offers students an optimal synergy: practical contents and problems, accompanied by experts and a scientific teaching framework, covered by the Merseburg University of Applied Sciences. HoMe and INTECIO GmbH share a common understanding of the importance of familiarizing students with the working world during their studies and thereby producing optimally trained graduates.
Such shared values are particularly effective when a course is supervised bilaterally. In my opinion, this results in a very dynamic and goal-oriented cooperation.
Did the course “ERP Systems” give you something for yourself?
Whether student or teacher, the practice-oriented course format, as handled in the course “ERP Systems”, clearly shows the added value of cooperation between companies and educational institutions. This form of teaching is to be further expanded and consolidated in the future.
From a subject-related point of view, it is particularly exciting to see how practical relevance can be didactically packaged and taught, but also which needs arise on the part of the students.
Do you see the possibility of a partnership with INTECIO GmbH that goes beyond the current course?
Actually, concrete research and development projects are already being planned. As things stand at present, I also appreciate further cooperation in teaching.
