University course "ERP systems" enters second round
In the summer semester of 2021, we will once again be organizing the “ERP Systems” course together with Merseburg University of Applied Sciences. The team of lecturers consists of SAP consultants and employees of Merseburg University.
Since April 16, 2021, about 30 students participate weekly in this course, which again takes place online.
The content of the course is yard management. In contrast to the course in the last summer semester, this year’s course will be less about pure programming. Students will receive information and details ranging from process analysis to the creation of a business blueprint. In order to apply what they have learned in practice, all participants have their own access to a test system in which they can create processes themselves and try them out. In addition, the participants gain a practical insight into the everyday work of an SAP consultant.
The students from “Business Information Systems” and “Industrial Engineering” will submit a written final paper at the end of the course. Here they will put themselves in the shoes of an SAP consultant and plan an SAP project for a fictitious company. The goal is to create a fully comprehensive business blueprint. The processes described therein must then be replicated in customizing.
We are happy to offer our training opportunities beyond the HoMe course. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
